Chairman: Simon Browne

Aka "Father Ted" (he claims due to his sense of humour; we say due to the grey hair). Arrived at Sunbury in 1979, scored a try, got mentioned in the Irish Times, then wasn't seen again until the early 90s. Has two young girls both in the Digger Club and a nephew who plays for the Amateurs. Has been a Committee member for four years and was Chairman of Vice for the last two. A bloodsucker (lawyer!) by trade, he seeks out his prey in the Hotel and North Stand bars.

Vice Chairman: James Christie

In his 40s, James has been an LI supporter since 1998 and lives in Egham with his wife and two children - all Season Ticket holders. He is a Finance Director working in London and has been on the Committee since 2003, keeping us all up to scratch with his meticulous spreadsheets! James is usually in the Hotel Bar before and after the game and sits above the tunnel during the match. His family still think he is going through a "phase" with LI but appreciate that the problem may be more deep rooted!

Hon.Treasurer: Sarah Newton

Sarah admits only to being "slightly over 21" and lives in Reading with her hubby (known to most as Bisach) and son, Charlie. The Family Bisach are East Standers and enjoy the matchday experience by making as much noise as possible with the drummers. Sarah is a flighty piece and will either be in the Cowshed or the Hotel Bar before games - depending on her mood!

Hon. Secretary: Lynn Duffy

Played rugby for a few years and followed the game, but did not start supporting a team (apart from England), until she met Bren, who took her along to Sunbury. Got hooked on the rugby, the Craic and the Guinness! Joined Committee last season and now along with Bren look after the LISC merchandise. Lowest moment was having to fly to Afghanistan the day before the Powergen final, then trying to find anyone with a radio to get the score! Watched the game on video in a tent at Bagram airbase 2 weeks later. As you probably guessed, her day job is in the RAF as an Avionics Technician working on the Chinook helicopters at Odiham.

Hon. Membership Secretary: Kieran Madigan

In his early 40s, Kieran has been supporting London Irish since his first visit to Sunbury in the mid 90s. He lives in Three Mile Cross, very close to (some might say actually "in"...) The Swan, with his wife and daughter. He works in London for an investment company. Oddly, he can usually be found in The Swan before and after games (and most other times too) and sits in Lower West, just behind the Away dug-out.

Brendan Duffy

What was first? Rosslyn Park stopped serving 3 pints jugs of ale or the fact he was invited to train at Sunbury as a player for London Transport in 1984? Park was his first club, as he lived in Putney, the days of Andy Ripley. Then moved on to Sunbury and has enjoyed the Craic ever since. A member of LISC from the start and co-opted onto the committee since 05 - with his wife Lynn, Bren runs the merchandise for LISC. On match days he"ll be at the LISC marquee before the game and in the Cowshed after. Day job is a Guard for South West Trains. "The next station is Hook".

Alex Hoenig

One of the Reading 4 with no rugby background what-so-ever, came along to the first match at the MadStad back in September 2000 and got hooked after about 10 minutes. Now a permanent fixture at both home and away matches - can be found around the LISC tent before matches, the Lower West during and the hotel bar after. Frequent TV appearances are more likely due to the green wig rather than the rugged good looks.

Chris Cutler

Also known as the Barmy Bishop, “Mad Monk” Chris Cutler has become a familiar sight at London Irish matches both at Madjeski Stadium and at away matches. You can follow his personal and highly biased view of life as a London Irish supporter through his blog at Reading post. In real life Chris is a foster carer. As he points out there are not many foster carers who are monks, but being mad is a definite advantage!

Sarah Whilfield

Sarah was one of the many who got drawn to "live" rugby after England's success in the 2003 World Cup. It started as going along to the odd game. Then more games and a season ticket in the Lower West Stand quickly followed. Now she can be found at the LISC tent before each home game (main responsibility - tent folding!) and the hotel bar after.
